Participate in Scout Sunday

February 5, 2012 & Earn a Patch!

In February 2012, all Orange County Council Scouting units, whether sponsored by a religious institution or not, should consider participating in Scout Sunday as an
opportunity to showcase the good work done by your Scouts and leaders and as a chance to teach Scouts about their duty to God through a local religious institution.
Many successful troops and packs consider Scout Sunday to be an important part of their program. February is designated the official Scouting month, and generally the 1st Sunday of the month, February 5th in 2012, is considered Scout Sunday. Here are some of their most successful ideas, according to Deanna Westmyer, 2012 Orange County Council Scout Sunday Chair:


2012 Adult Winter Backpack Awareness Training

 The Orange County High Adventure team will conduct the next Winter Backpack Awareness Course on Saturday, January 28, at the  William Lyon Homes Center for Scouting, 1211 East Dyer Road, Santa Ana CA.
